I just bought GARTH BROOKS Blame It All On My Roots 8 Disc Box Set.  There are all sorts of covers and interesting music here.

The box set arrived yesterday and is being played today.  I immediately went to "Blue Eyed Soul" which covers 11 of the best Soul songs of the 60s.  Most noteworthy are:

I Heard It Through The Grape Vine
Ain't No Sunshine
Drift Away
Stand By Me (5 points to anyone who can say who the most famous person who covered this and give the name on the label)

What'd I Say

There are 3 CDs of covers, 2 DVDs and 2 other CDs.

Hmmm, my wife is a Garth Brooks fan but when I asked her if she might like it for Christmas she read the write up and said no thanks.
