Title: 6N23P-EB's in the house
Post by: Downhome Upstate on December 09, 2013, 05:05:23 PM
Just in from Ukraine: the low-noise version of the Russian military surplus 6922 equivalents. Not a lot of listening time yet, but I think I'm liking these better than the EH 6922's and the Amperex Orange label 6922's. If my ears do not deceive me, he 6N23P-EB's have the sweet midrange of the Amperex tubes, the treble extension of the Electro Harmonix, and tighter bass than either. More listening required, but so far, so good.

I am not surprised.  I ran them in my Seduction and had equivalents waiting when I got my Eros. I probably have a lifetime supply of Eros 6Ж32П (6J32P) tubes (EF86)

I've used them before also, they are great tubes, especially for the price
