Hello,
Got my kit for Christmas from Santa.. yay!!
All parts were included, which is awesome. Just started putting it together and the indexing hole for the potentiometer indexing pin was a little off, and the little pin cracked at its base the moment I tried to put it in. It's still attached, just cracked. It seems to hold fine.
Just wondering if I should be quite concerned or if there is a quick fix I can make to resolve this? I'm new to all of this, so don't want to screw anything up!
Would it be a problem to just throw a little solder in the crack to make it a bit stronger?
Other than that, all is going very well.
Thanks!

You can snap the pin off and mount the pot without it. If the pot loosens up, it may rotate a bit, all you'll have to do is pop the knob off and tighten down the mounting nut again.

Another question... this time regarding power supply.
The power supply that shipped with my unit has terminals 1 through 7. However, the power supply in the manual, and in all illustrations has an additional 3 terminals, 8, 9 and 10... The label on the power supply also only goes up to terminal 7.
Did I receive the incorrect power supply, or do I simply have an outdated manual?
Colour me confused. :/ If anyone knows that would be most helpful.
Thanks sirs.
Edit: This is what I have in my possession.

Someone packed the wrong transformer in your kit. Should have been a PT-3. Contact Eileen at queen at bottlehead dot com and she will ship the proper transformer to you.

I thought that might be the case.
Thanks for the reply.
