Title: PLLXO
Post by: RPMac on January 02, 2014, 12:59:38 PM
If I put a .025uf cap in series with the Stereomour inputs, will that give me a 700hz high pass filter?
Intend to drive my mid and tweeter of my heresy speakers.

I would be interested in the line level XO to biamp my EV Sentry IV's.  Paramour 2A3's to bass bin with low pass at 4-500Hz and Paramour 45's high pass at same.  Tried to find formulas on web but only found active.  Most interested in the 45's not seeing the bass frequencies.  The 2A3's could run full into the speaker XO.

Cheers,
Geary

@RPMac, I get 64Hz with that cap. 0.00227uF into 100K is 700Hz.

@galyons, the formula is 2*pi*f = 1/(R*C).

Anyone, ping me with an email address and I'll send my PLLC design from 2000. It's a fun and handy tool, though limited in application.
