Hello, Sorry if this has been asked before. I am on my way to Korea from the US. Can the Crack + Speedball wired for 120VAC be used with a plug in step down transformer? And if so what would be the ideal wattage?
When I thought I was going to Korea a couple of years ago, I considered rewiring with 240 but I am only going to be there a year or so and I am reluctant to anything to change the sound I have come to rely on.
Thanks,
Chris

Transformers are rated in Volt-Amps. Or kVA, thousand Volt-Amps. You will need about 0.5 kVA for crack. You want a 240V/120V transformer. If you buy a transformer with no plugs or jacks on it you don't need to worry, a 2:1 transformer will do.
If you don't understand that, just ignore it.

0.050 kVA will do (50VA), 100VA will be a bit more versatile.

Thanks for the quick feedback. I can't wait to put "Crack" and "Speedball" on my customs declaration.
