Hello,
I did my voltage check and all of the numbers were great, and then I bumped the LED at A8 with my probe and it blew it out. I continued with the voltage check. Below are the numbers that off:
1 85 (before blown LED) 151 (after blown LED)
7 109 (before) 150 (after)
A5 85 (before) 151 (after)
B1 151 (only measured after the blown LED)
B3 150 (only measured after the blown LED)
I'm hoping these numbers are consistent with a blown LED at A8 and nothing else. Is this the case?
I'll call up Bottlehead and beg for another LED tomorrow. Bummer. I was so close to music...

Also, when I install the new LED, can I just snip off the old LED and then solder on the new one without taking all of the solder off of the terminal? I know I'm supposed to put the solder tip on the lead and the terminal and heat both before soldering to avoid a cold solder, but is a cold solder really even possible with one of these LEDs? I was hoping I could just heat the existing solder up on the terminal and add a bit of new solder. As you can tell, I'm new to soldering.

You can just snip the old one out and pop the new one in.
If the LED glows, there's no reason to be too worried about measuring the voltage across it.
