Title: Bottlehead builder in either North Carolina or northern VA?

Hey all,

Thinking about buying a new kit, but wondering if there were any builders available in either the Triangle area of NC, or northern VA - I travel to both pretty regularly. I seem to remember a pretty active B'head community in Nova (went to a get-together in Ashburn once, heard some cool stuff), but not sure if everyone's still around with the new forum. Likewise, it'd be cool to find people in NC, I'm down here more often right now.

You are not getting much response.  I'm in Knoxville.  Are you looking to travel and get it built?

I'm in North Wilkesboro which is about 3 hours west of Raleigh. I did not respond because I was expecting someone closer to Raleigh to respond.

I would have preferred to stay within a reasonable driving distance (couple hours)...

Are you looking for someone to build your kit for you? (See hifibuilderguy)
Someone to hang out with you while you build your kit? (maybe Grainger)
Someone to drink beer with while you build your kit? (check the local Ham swap meet)

The original post isn't quite clear about your exact needs.
