It is Record Store Day and I know where my lunch money (+) went.
5th in line of 60+ at the same local store I bought a copy of Carole King's Tapestry when it came out in '71. Mostly EPs and singles, the stand out for me is Dave Alvin's songs from Common Ground.
I say go out and support the other half of our obsession!

We have a store in my little town, isn't much so I usually go to Lexington. Went to the small store here this time instead as he was advertising RSD, was really happy I did. Nothing like having lowered expectations because he has really put some work into his vinyl selection and he had a decent bit of stock for RSD. My wife went along and bought the Johnny Cash album and the Wizard of OZ soundtrack. Standout was the Joy Division EP. Definitely a lot of fun and glad I was able to support our local shop.
