Title: Q&A - Jacqui Naylor and Art Khu, July 6th
Post by: Doc B. on April 22, 2014, 11:27:42 AM
Last September we had the pleasure of a visit from Jacqui Naylor and her band here at Bottleheadquarters. We managed to squeeze a nice sized audience into our intimate upstairs studio, and immediately afterwards I was being asked "when's the next one?"

Queenie and I have been working on scheduling some shows here on a more regular basis, and just this morning I got confirmation from Jacqui that she and Art Khu will help us kick off this new program with a show on Sunday July 6th, 7 p.m. I hope to get my act together enough to record the session and we will have the same sort of meet and greet setup as last time, where you can hang with the diva for a bit after the show.

Here's a little bit of last year's show to sample -

As of last night we are down to just 11 seats left for this show!

Here is a message from Jacqui about the show, and info on where to buy tickets

I hope you are doing well and enjoying spring. It’s raining here in San Francisco, a perfect day to write friends and tell them about an upcoming concert we’ll be doing soon in your area.

Art Khu and I will perform a duo concert in a very quiet, intimate and wonderfully acoustic setting on Bainbridge Island, Sunday July 6th at 7 p.m. The space holds just 30 people! The cost is $35 per person and includes wine and maybe a little whisky. : )

Bottlehead www.bottlehead.com makes high-end vacuum tube audio equipment and the owners have been friends and supporters of Art and me for many years. We even did a reel to reel recording and release exclusively through their Tape Project a few years ago. We plan to record this concert as well so you’ll have a chance to be part of history in the making.

Art and I will play some familiar favorites as well as some brand new material. It’s really stripped down to the way all of our songs begin….just the two of us. So it will be just like you are in our living room.

Hope you can join us for a fun-filled capper to the Fourth of July Weekend. Bainbridge Island is just a bliss-filled ferry ride from Seattle. Here is the link. I suggest getting your tickets soon since there is very a limited quantity.
