Title: What to do with a 7410
Post by: JamieMcC on May 02, 2014, 09:16:32 AM
I have had four 7410 tubes given to me the other day I am guessing they are NOS as are in their boxes and all are in very nice condition.

Would they be any good for audio use and worth hanging on to?

I cant find anything about it, it looks more like a rectifier to me than a regular tube?

It's a thyratron. DocB thinks it would make a cool solder station controller, that's about th only potential audio use I know of.

A few of them have become rare and are still used in some machinery, so they are costly. The rest are just taking up space somewhere.
