Interesting. I try to arrive in concerts in good mental condition and hopefully leave in 'wow' condition. I'm not sure what condition I would leave this Denver concert in.
Come to think of it, I don't listen to music at home much if I am boozed although I have been known to sit there listening with a glass of good cognac.
When I am sick, I don't listen at all. It's a sign that I am getting better when I start listening again.

Would this be in "Three square miles surrounded by reality"? AKA Boulder.

Nope, actually this would have been in Denver.

"And it stoned me to my soul
Stoned me just like Jelly Roll
And it stoned me
And it stoned me to my soul
Stoned me just like goin' home
And it stoned me" Van Morrison
Not expected from the symphony though. Curious.

Fortunately, they sell enough edibles here in CO to make it doable. So many assume you have to smoke...just chow down on a brownie or drink some medicinal soda pop and the blue shirts won't know the difference. Never have liked drinking while watching movies or listening to complex music.

Interesting.
We were at the San Diego symphony this last weekend for the first time and impressed that you could bring food and drink into the hall. Neither of us had experienced that before...

You can order food and drinks to be brought to you at SF Davies Symphony Hall. But, only in the boxes, not the "cheap seats". Can't bring food into the hall.

Wow, I never expected this to get so much interest -- just posted it as a novelty item.
I myself would never want to be stoned or drinking at the symphony -- just too much going on musically that I'd never be able to follow it or enjoy it. But to each his own.
