Title: Burn-in/ settling without headphones attached?

Hi.

I now have installed Mundorf 100uF 250v MCap output capacitors with Mundorf Supreme 1uF bypass caps, also Neutrik locking jack( decided to put it in upside down, makes cable release somewhat easier. ) Also installed a beautiful straight brown based CV 2523.

I understand that all of these things take some time settling in/ burning in.
My headphones(HD 580) are years old and shouldnt need that.
Can I leave the amp playing from my ipod without headphones attached but volume at10-11 oclock, would that count as burn in time?

Yeah, that will work.  There's a resistor that will load the output and give the amp something to work into.  I wouldn't have it up much past a normal listening level though.
