One of my KR 300b tubes crapped out on me the other day. I recheck the voltages on the amp just to be sure there wasn't an issue and everything was fine. I'll have to see what the warranty is on these tubes I got them the same time I got the BeePree.
I replaced both KR tubes with a pair of Psvane 300b (Black Bottle) tubes. They are well broken having found use in a 300B SET amp I have since canablized for parts.
Wow do these tubes sound good in the BeePre! Smoother than the KR and and great detail.
The KR tubes were in no way a slouch, but I am very impressed by the Psvane tubes.
