Just checking in to see if there is something wrong with my settings. When I check delivery status it doesn't appear to have updated since June 30th and from past experience you folks are always very good about keeping that up to date.

PS - I keep checking since I bought one of the SEX amps that were on special and I'm itching to hear it with my AKG K701's. ;)

Dan and Eileen were out of town for the last week and a half, and I was rather busy packing kits, including finalizing a very large shipment. In order to update the list, we need to know what we have shipped, and what orders we have received. When skeleton crewing it as we/I were/was last week, that becomes a much more monumental task. I actually spent about half my day today updating our orders from the past few weeks. I also realized that I have sufficient access to update the website now, so I did.
I can say that S.E.X. kits are currently waiting on several back ordered parts. I do not have an accurate prediction of when they will ship; I can only say that they will go out in the standard 3-6 week timeframe.

Thanks for the reply. I held off on asking for a couple weeks thinking that either my settings were wrong or you folks just got really busy.
This will be my third Bottlehead kit and I'll probably build at least two more so I'm glad to see that things are going well.

Bumping an old thread. Any chance someone can update the Delivery Status, looks like its been about three weeks since the last one? I'm sure there are a few others besides me that are waiting for a big box and checking it often. ;)

It hasn't been updated for a while because there hasn't been much shipping. I was out of town last week, and there were some significant parts droughts the week before. I am chugging through the backlog this week; most likely similar sized boxes to the one you are asking will go out, but not as far down the list as where your name is.

Thanks Josh. I figured I am still a couple weeks away at least. Seeing those dates change at least gives me the feeling like it's getting closer, as silly as that sounds.
If all goes well, I'll be ordering the Eros by this weekend as well! Just a little stoked with anticipation over here. :)

As someone who has ordered a few kits recently, with another in the pipeline, I can attest to the immense power of seeing the weekly update on shipping. Even if it is only the 'Last Updated' date on the page that changes with no kit dates changing it has a powerful effect.
Whether this is accurate or not I found myself checking daily, on the off chance of a pleasant surprise, but Thursday Evening / Friday AM (UK) was always a big occasion as that seemed to be when the update was most likely to happen.
Now here is the interesting part, and its almost certainly a pavlovian response, but I know full well that if my kit was shipping I would see emails from the courier. I am not going to find out my kit has shipped by looking at the shipping page. What that page is actually for is to tell me whether or not my order is likely to be reached in the next batch. It tells me whether I should start crossing my fingers, getting excited and hoping to see that email from the courier...
The date creeping towards my order date lets me start looking forward to christmas coming... If the last updated date does not get updated on a weekly basis I don't know whether to be optimistic or resigned... But when it gets close - oh boy does that make the next week exciting!
