Just built my Quickie and my voltages are all high.
1 - 42.7
2 - 57.4
3
4 - 3.8
5 - 0
6 - 45
7 - 57.4
8
9 - 3.2
10 - 0
Everything on the build seems right. My resistance checks were a little weird until I put the tubes in, then they were spot on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have no idea how you are seeing 57v, thats just weird. Try measuring a few batterys on their own and see if you get sensible readings, just to verify your meter is ok.

Thanks for the reply. My lovely fiancé had the same idea to check my meter. Grabbed a new 9V battery out of the Quickie and it measured 14.25 Volts! That is about the same ratio that my measurements are off, so it looks like the meter is measuring high. :o

That goes back to the ongoing discussion of cheap meters causing more problems that Bottleheads imagine. There are good meters out there for $40.

Very true about "cheap" things in general. I actually have a great meter, but can't find it in the garage, so had to use my old cheap backup. I also brought out my old Weller soldering station and it performed perfectly.
