Title: Question about power transformers

Hello

I have opportunity to buy Bottlehead Crack equipped with 120v power transformer for a cheap price. Problem is that I live in a country which uses 240v as main voltage. So my question is that if I just use some cheap transformer to convert 240v to 120v would it affect the sound quality?

A decent 240V to 120V step down transformer can be purchased inexpensively and should work fine. I would look for something with about a 100VA rating.
