Title: Quickie As Dac Output Stage

Was wondering if Quickie pre can be wired directly to output of dac chip from cd player, bypassing the opamps? Thanks.

I donâ€™t see why not. I did something similar a while back with a DAC stage in a CD player. It worked great.

Post by: Paul Joppa on September 22, 2014, 03:51:34 PM: How you do it depends on the particular DAC chip; some put out voltage and others put out current. I googled "DAC IV resistor tube" and got a lot of hits that looked relevant. (IV is short for current-to-voltage, if that makes more sense.)
