Title: 1/4" male to RCA female adapter
Post by: rickdagless on October 13, 2014, 11:57:43 PM
Hey all,

Looking for some product advice here...  I have the Bottlenect RCA interconnect kit, but I'll need two 1/4" Mono Male to RCA Female adapters to plug them into my current DAC (Focusite Forte).  Does anyone have a recommendation that won't bottleneck the Bottlenect (Booyah!) ?

Have you built the kit yet?  You could just terminate one end of each cables with a 1/4" mono plug.

Hey PB -- not just yet.  I have considered that option, but what with the new Bottlehead DAC coming out soon, I don't know how much longer I will be sticking with this one, so I'm looking for a more temporary solution.

Here's an option:

I use something like this to connect the Quickie to a professional power amp..  Should work pretty well for your situation.  Or maybe you could use 1/4" male mono to rca female..  You probably don't even need the stereo version.

Here's the same connector at monoprice for 5% the cost of the Rat Shack one:
