Title: Big Thanks to whoever told me about the Russian Bypass Caps
Post by: John EH on October 28, 2014, 04:15:26 PM
I forget the thread but someone recommended some .056 uf Russian Caps from eBay a while back.  They just showed up in the mail and I slapped them in.  Immediately noticed improved clarity and the high end is BACK!  Really a fantastic upgrade for just a few bucks.  Highly recommended.

These are the caps.

Installed right over the 100uF caps.

If you want to go a step further two 100uf poly caps to replace those electrolytics would make a very nice difference, and of course you can keep those bypass caps too.

What voltage would these caps need to be.  I might pick some up on Ebay with the others mentioned and see how it changes my crack.
