Title: New Stereomour in house
Post by: mkane on November 12, 2014, 02:11:01 PM
New owner here. Bought my unit used. Liking it. It's driving Klipsch Cornwalls quite nicely.

From the very beginning (the first Paramour) this design has had a lot of success with Cornwalls. Glad to hear it's working for you too!

And welcome, btw.

If it wasn't for your help I would have never made it here. Enjoying the 2a3's.

Can't find where I previously asked this question. Is there anything to gain by running a Quickie pre before the Stereomour other than sharpening my soldering skills.

This is one of those things where it doesn't look that useful/great on paper, but those who have tried it swear by it!

And a stepping stone leading up to a Smash build?????????? I can solder but I need to be held by the hand building something like an amp.

The instructions manuals from Bottlehead are so detailed, it's nit much different than holding your hand.  ;)

Take your time, you'll do just fine.
