Title: Jensen RP-302 tweeter

Does anyone here have experience with this tweeter?  I'm considering adding a pair to my 755a's.

Hi Aaron,

I don't have experience with those particular ones but I have been playing a lot with tweeters on top of my 755As. I love the tubed-by-doc ionovacs. The match is perfect. I've never heard better highs. Perfect for the 755As. Having said that you have to be aware that adding supertweeters transforms the 755a into completely different beasts. The main change is in the bass which gets faster and punchier. And of course the highs get crispier. BUT the magic of the midrange slightly suffers. I would encourage trying for yourself. I listen with the tweeters on about 50% of the time. I guess that supports my story. I would never use the tweeters for my current love: chamber music. For jazz and rock they work great though.
