Title: Crack manual typo?
Post by: Mid-Ranger on December 30, 2014, 08:38:55 AM
When I finished my Crack yesterday I discovered that two wires were still loose at B7L and B8L. Page 18 of the manual instructs to attach but not solder the twisted pair coming from the transformer to B7L and B8L.

I went back and checked the manual 2x but never found an instruction to solder these two wires.

Indeed, it is already soldered on page 19, both upper and lower.

The distinction of U/L on tube socket pins isn't made in the manual, as we are sometimes shipped tube sockets which do not contain upper and lower lugs.

I'll have to check with Josh when he gets back on why we ended up doing that.  I know that there's been confusion when that hasn't been in the manual, and other times confusion when the 2 hole octal sockets are out of stock and we have to provide a slightly different socket.

"Indeed, it is already soldered on page 19, both upper and lower. "

My manual was a DL which on page 19 only specified solder B7 & B8 uppper.........not lower.  :)
