Title: Speaking of 300B
Post by: Paully on May 19, 2010, 03:42:07 PM
I keep seeing Guiguang 300B on ebay but a search of the archives on audioasylum doesn't show anyone who has actually bought and tried a pair.  Anyone here?  They are extremely inexpensive for 300B so I would have thought someone would have tried a pair by now.

I have actually purchased a pair of the Guiguang 300B's off of Ebay for $100+ and believe it or not they don't sound that bad.  I am using them in my Parabee's.  They aren't as good as my Meshplates but for $100 they aren't bad

I have a pair of Shuguang 300B-98.  From your description the Guiguang sound fine but not enough that they would offer a real improvement over the Shuguang, which I actually like.

Hello Dave,

I just nabbed a pair of these Guiguang 300B's.  Have you been running yours much?  Have they held up well?

I ran a pair for about a year, no concerns. I've changed the amps to Guiguang 2A3s and like what I am hearing :) FWIW the only other 300B I've used are the EHs that came with the kit; I think they are very close in terms of sound quality. I only bought the second pair for the sake of having a spare set, lots of mileage left on both ;D
