Title: Stereomour II timeline
Post by: Alonzo on April 01, 2015, 08:14:45 PM
Hi,
Is the new power amp scheduled for anytime soon?  Is it a summer debut or is this a long term project?  Will it be one of your standard parafeed designs or will it be something different like the Seductor?

Stereomour II will be similar to Stereomour, but with some interesting new features, like the ability to upgrade to the same type of attenuator used in the BeeQuiet and SmashQuiet upgrades. There will be some other changes as well. PB and Josh are working the photography of the assembly of the prototype into the schedule, soon. From there we usually make minor final adjustments and will probably start taking pre orders.

I waffled too long and missed the last of the Stereomours. I've been checking in daily for info on the "II". Thanks in advance for what I'm sure will be the next great incarnation of my system. How about a pre-pre-order?

Josh and I are working on the manual a bit today.  Keep an eye out for a Stereomour 2.0 kit subforum to pop up in the near future.

Can you still wire it for 45's?

I hope not, there's an SR-45 amp out there somewhere I'm hoping BH comes out with.

The Stereomour II can be wired for 45's.  It will be a similar process to the original Stereomour, but we will not include the parts to do so.  (You need to swap a couple resistors per channel)
