Seems like getting an upgraded pot for the crack is easiest before assembly. Can I get a little help on what to look for?
10Km 25K, 50K, 100K, 250K, 500K
what's that mean? What's recommended for the crack? Does the speedball upgrade make a difference with regards to pot selection?
Linear vs log? What's recommended?
"B" type. What's that?
Links to suggested pots is appreciated.

In the Crack layout the pot is all by itself. It has lots of room. So build stock then swap it.
I suggest staying with the stock value of 100k Ohms. You do not want linear, it should be log or audio taper.
Speedball doesn't change anything about the pot.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like the speedball might impinge upon the space available for a pot, but it good to know it don't change any of the electric requirements.

I bought and installed a PEC 100k stereo audio taper pot. Not much bigger than the stock pot, fits fine with the Speedball, and it tracks and sounds very good.
