I was taking a close look at my Crack today, which I built last May. I discovered the 4 transformer screws were not tight. I'm sure they were snugged down when I built the Crack. My point is it may be worthwhile to check the screws every so often, and I wonder if a touch of lock tight might not be a bad idea.

Transformers vibrate. But I thought Bottlehead used star, lock, washers on the transformers. That should keep the screw/nut from backing off. But I will check my Paramours today. If I find they are loose I will post back.
Thanks for the heads up.

The lock washers should do the job, but it's possible the insulating shoulder washers get compressed, or fit better in their chassis holes, after a few heat cycles. While you're at it, check the RCA jacks, they often loosen up after a while.

I've tightend the rca jacks in the past too

Ditto
I've found items getting loosened due to repeated heatup and cooldown cycles.
It is not uncommon in industry for newly constructed components to change in this manner.
One reason preventive maintenance is important ("fix it" before it requires corrective maintenance).
