Title: Misunderstanding a paragraph

Greetings.

First of all, I apologize for the stupid question, but my english is really poor and I'm driving myself insane for this.

I don't understand this step:

Quote

Slip a round #8 lockwasher over one 1-3/4”
screw and place that screw in the hole nearest
the safety ground. Place three more #8 by 1-3/4”
screws into the other holes on each corner of the transformer.

I finished the assembly part 1, and I have that #8 lockwasher remaining. Also, I have a #6 lockwasher remaining (I used the other one on the nine pin socket), and 2 golden nuts from the RCA jacks.
What am I missing?

Here's a photo of the screw, lockwasher, and transformer cover.

There might be an extra lockwasher or two, they tend to stick together when being packed. 

The new (and much nicer) RCA jacks we provide come with two nuts per jack.  You can use both, or just use one, it's up to you.  Using both should keep them tight for a very long time.

Thanks for the answer. But, for what is that lockwasher? I mean, is crucial?

On the other hand, I have exactly the 2/2 #6 round lockwashers that the parts list says. And after finish the assembly I have 1 remaining. I guess this isn't important.

The lockwasher is made to grip onto the two parts.  In this case it is to give a better ground.  These area all about making a safe single ground for the transformer.
