Title: How to make a Krell Pre phono stage your biatch...

After the AXPONA show in Chicago I visited with a couple of friends and was asked to bring the Reduction along.  It's been in this system before but it was decision time.

Salk speakers, Krell power amp, Krell pre, rebuild Lenco with air bearing arm - all very nice stuff.  We ran it with the Krell pre and then switched out the Krell and put in the Audio Research pre but the AR has no phono pre.  Hence the reason to bring along the Reduction.

The short story is that the Krell was officially retired yesterday and I believe there will be an order placed for a Reduction/Integration very soon!

I guess that explains the Reduction order on my desk this morning...
