Hi,
finished S.E.X. 2.1 without any upgrades (yet) and all resistances and all but the high voltages read correctly. All the terminals with high voltages though (marked in the pictures) read -0.3V DC. Any idea what's causing this? Tube filaments glow nicely.
Thanks in advance!

What AC voltage do you have between power transformer terminals 6 and 7?

Your reply made me notice that the tiny connection of terminal 7 to the power transformer is split (AC voltage between 6 and 7 close to 0)... so could i just solder this back together?
-
Yes, that would likely be the culprit.

(Also, in your second picture posted, be sure the 150K resistor and 1.27K resistor don't have leads touching)

Alright, will try that and report back. The resistors are actually about a cm apart from each other, it's just the point of view :)

Perfect readings now - thanks for the spot on help!
Great sound... for the right channel. None for the left :P
Nothing to do with the tubes - switching them does no change.
Update: all good. One of the 90° cinch adapters seems to be broken. sex up and running 8)
Not the slightest hint of hum or crackling btw. just perfectly dead background and clear sound.
