Title: Heater wiring question

On page 48 of the manual the instructions state to slip a one inch piece of teflon tubing over the bare drain wire.....I found no teflon tubing in the kit or on the parts list.

Is this no longer necessary?

There should be a little black piece of heatshrink tubing.
