Hello!
This is my second go at a bottlehead kit. Everything seamed to check out on the ohm and voltage checks and the amp worked great for about 15 mins and then it started "popping" bad. I found that by moving the plug for the headphones around I could make it pop and crack. The plug on the headphones get pretty warm too.
I am using the bottleheadphones that I just put together a few weeks ago. They work just fine when connected to my regular amp.
Any thoughts?

Popping=bad solder joints.
A warm solder joint may indicate that the wires feeding the headphone jack aren't going to the right terminals. Are the 2.49K resistors starting to burn?

I checked and re soldered the joints. My red wire broke when I pried at it so I replaced that too. I had that issue a lot on this build. I used cloth covered wire and nicked a good amount of wires while striping with a razor blade.
Anyway, I works great now! After about 30 mins the plug didn't get warm and there was no popping. Sounds better than it did too. Thanks for your help! I guess I could have done more trouble shooting before posting here...

Nice nice, I really like the color of the top plate. I screwed up on my spray paint on my top plate. I pretty much have to de solder everything to fix up the ugly paint job ughh!!
