Title: Output Impedance Switch Kit - what are the resistors for?

What is the purpose of the resistors on the Output Impedance Switch Kit?
Prior to installing, when wired directly to the transformers there are no resistors involved.

For balanced output, a couple impedances have a center tap.  For those that don't, the pair of resistors provides the center tap.
