Title: troubleshooting help: resistance is fine but blowing fuses.
Post by: vafan13 on October 23, 2015, 11:39:50 AM
Hello all,

Finished my build, and have tested resistance twice and double checked all soldering steps, but I've now blown three fuses and am out of ideas.  Not sure if anyone has ideas, but he's a picture I took, maybe someone can see something I didn't!  (The untrimmed leads have since been trimmed).  I have other more close up pictures if that will help, just tell me what is needed.

Trimming the leads was a good start.  Can you post some photos of where the UF4007's are installed?

After doing some more searches I realized that the instructions were incorrectly listing .5amp (which is what i used for fuse 2 and 3).  I just got home with some 1 ampers and it's powering up and voltages appear good!
