Interesting perspective, particularly for someone who has been to their concerts in Philly for about 30 years. I must go up to NY to hear them in Carnegie Hall sometime.

By the way, they are back to their superlative standard now that YNS is their conductor. Though I was a little surprised that he did not make them go a bit faster towards the end of the Grieg.
