Title: building circuit boards
Post by: aragorn723 on December 19, 2015, 09:03:17 AM
Hi,

I just finished building my first circuit board with perf board, and was wondering how to check the circuit?  There are a lot of connections!  It is the 3d imaging preamp a few threads below this one.  Thanks,

Dave

As the preamp is a crossfeed I only checked the resistance between R+out and L+out: you can read a value when the effect is on and no value (infinite) when switched off.
Move the pot with the circuit switched on and you can also see how much the resistance between R+out and L+out can vary.

Hope it helps.

Ciao

So far I have the board built, that's about it.  Guessing this kind of thing won't work till the pot, switch, and rcas are wired up?  Gotta get my act together and order an aluminum plate, or maybe a chassis ! :)
