Title: Head-Fi Show, January 30th, San Jose, CA,

There is going to be a Head-Fi show in San Jose, CA, on January 30th. Admission is FREE. I will be demonstrating my SEX 2.1 amplifier. I was in the show a couple of years ago, a lot of nice people. As always I will have a batch of my chocolate chip cookies. Hope to see some Bottleheads there.

I wasn't aware of this, I've been frequenting DIYaudio much more than head-fi lately..

Its about a 4 hour drive for me, but if I'm able to make it I'll bring my c4s'ed S.E.X. 2.1 with mundorf supreme parafeed and coupling caps, and a power supply with chokes and film caps (and possibly a CLCLC, if I can properly implement the second choke, one Paul Joppa said could work so I need to experiment), possibly my Alpha Dogs, and maybe a pair of TABAQs or Frugal-Horn mkIIIs if I can get both finished in time.

Oh, and though it'd be unlikely I'll have it finished I might be able to bring my own Soekris DAM1021 R-2R DAC, with a pair of 78/79xx series linear regulators, direct I2S connection to a Raspberry Pi 2 via http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/269943-input-switch-boards-soekris-dam1021-dac.html (http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/269943-input-switch-boards-soekris-dam1021-dac.html), with a raspberry pi based NAS+WD my cloud streaming to the DAM.  Hoping to build a basic buffer eventually,, but if it's running stable I'll bring it and use the DAM's unbuffered, raw 1.4dc output to feed the SEX source material.

All of it can be controlled with a phone or tablet :D
