Parts Connexion has 100uf Clarity PX caps on sale at about 50% off. Probably not going to find a 100uf film cap any cheaper than this.

No idea how these sound, but another attractive price.

Yeah, crossover membrane. That's what I look for when I buy a cap, I mean, a condensotor. That's because I am a serious audiophiler.
-
Solen make a 250v rated cap that will fit into a stock crack, you can buy them direct for $38cdn which is about $28usd http://solen.ca/products/capacitors/fast-capacitors-250v-pa-series-metallized-polypropylene/pa10000/ (http://solen.ca/products/capacitors/fast-capacitors-250v-pa-series-metallized-polypropylene/pa10000/)

Doc, are you making fun of us "Audiophilers"? There are much worse possibilities for neuroses.

There are much worse possibilities for neuroses.
I'm only making fun of audiophilers who obsess about the crossover membrane in their condensotor.

Are those for Audiophilers or Pediophilers?
-
Yeow, do I really need to use 10 of them? Not even sure I could handle one.
-
Doc,
Make a new badge for sale - "Serious Audiophiler" I'd buy one.
-
Parts Connexion is out of stock... :-\
But I did order 100 crossover membranes for my condensotor, three cans of pressure and a left handed monkey wrench! :o

Don't forget to have the vacuum in your tubes replaced with fresh vacuum every year as well.
-
I got it this far, Doc....now what? ::)

You need to cryo freeze it to remove all the bad electrons.
-
Use a vacuum cleaner to make sure you have all of the old vacuum removed. I like to keep a couple of vacuum storage bags under my bed for renewal. I open up a vacuum bag and pour some new vacuum over the plates. Then just put the glass back on.
