hello,
So im finely done with my build and it was working perfect but after 30 min i got a light hum on the right side of my headphones, its lighter as the 120hz hum and it slowly gets louder. If i put the crack off it goes away very fast(so its not in the tubes?). it also doesnt get louder if i turn the volume knob(so it also isnt in the volume meter?). i read the manual and i tried inspecting and resoldering everything. i even braided the rca cabling tighter. i also tried moving it around to see if it went away.
id love any help or suggestions.

What headphone's are you using?
-
sennheiser hd600's they are like a week old and there is no hum when i use it without the crack. so its probebly not the headphones

A light hum in only one ear could be a flaky solder joint, or it could be a tube that's just a little noisy. Often times if you give the tubes 3-4 days of constant use, such noises will go away.

Oh thanks man, ill resolder the joints and leave the amp on over for a few nights.

hi im back again. and the hum is still not gone. I had the amp on for about 50 hours but probably more. I resoldered most of the solders. i also recorded the hum so mabye someone recognizes it. https://soundcloud.com/damnub/crack-hum . If auto play is on the next song will be super loud
id love any help I can get.

I'd be happy to have a listen to the track, but when I click on the link, it says that the track is private.
