Title: BeePre resistance checks [resolved]
Post by: Jamus on January 30, 2016, 04:02:57 AM
Just finished building the BeePre and there were a few resistances that were off.
Terminal 2: should be >100k ohms, is 76k ohms
Terminal 17: should be >100k ohms, is 80k ohms
Terminal A2: should be >100k ohms, is 75k ohms
Terminal B2: should be >100k ohms, is 80k ohms

One thing that is throwing me is that these readings were done with multimeter set to 200k ohms but if I switch it to 2000k ohms I get somewhere around 450k ohm readout. So I'm not really sure which number to trust.

If these numbers are indeed low any idea where to start? Since these are on both A and B sides is there a common thread I should be focused on?

Thanks,
Jamus

Those aren't a problem, a lot of multimeters have a tough time measuring resistance when there are capacitors across the resistance being measured.

Thanks PB! On to the voltages...
