Bottlehead Crack, no speedball (yet) No hum, no hiss.. I turn the volume knob up ever so slightly and the left channel gives me music, the right is extremely quiet until I give it a normal amount of volume. Then it seems as if the right channel is only working at like 80%. I re soldered all the joints that they come in contact with to no avail. Doing Checks now

Hello there,
With which kit are you having issues? Have you performed the voltage and resistance checks?

So here's an update... The resistance check was ok! The voltage check didn't go so well... I'm not exactly sure what happened, but when I got to terminal 21 it sparked. So I shut it off immediately but also saw that one of my LED's went out. The only terminal to get an off reading was #7 instead of 100 it read 154.

I'm using the Crack with no speedball. Sorry! I just updated the main post to include that

You'll need to complete the voltage checks and post any that aren't within tolerance.
You really should absolutely not use under any circumstances anything that you've built without testing the voltages first.

I also didn't mention that I've had this for about a year now. It passed 100% when I built it.

So should I turn it back on since the capacitor sparked at me?

You may have shorted two terminals together with your meter probe creating the spark. If there was damage from it, the damage is done and you will need to get voltages and note anything that is way off from the manual to help figure out what might have happened.
