Title: Crack+speedball.... Small consistent "tapping" sound when everything is quiet

Hey guys.

So this is my first tube amp, I have been doing some research and finding mixed answers on this issue.

So..... when ever I have no sound playing, there is a constant very light tapping sound coming out of my left headphone driver.
I tested my HD650s and plugged them into my old MICCA ORIGEN to make sure it was not the drivers and everything was silent.

Is this a product of the tubes?
OR should there literally be complete silence when nothing is playing through them?

Try switching your cellphone to airplane mode to see if it is causing the problem you describe.
