I had some off resistances.  But a little observation and rereading the (great!) instructions and I found one resistor in the wrong terminals, and one stray lead shorting against a tube socket terminal.  Now she plays sweet music!!!  No hiss, no hum, no snap, crackle, or pop!  Now to rehear my favorite albums!

Thanks to the Bottlehead crew for a great kit!

Good job, Jay.  My recent build sounded unbelievable but then quickly went through the dreaded break-in process.  Never a good thing, but she's back to singing again, but of course, now I'm plotting all my tube/capacitor/etc. upgrades just to torture myself again... :o

Lookin good!  I'm loving mine.  I haven't listened to any digital sources since I built mine last month.
