I've been reading all through the SEX section of the Forum and I've found that several people are using 6SN7 tubes in the amp, while I have 6DN7. Curious, I pulled up some data sheets and noticed the two tubes were pretty much identical besides the capacitance rating for the second triode. Is the 6SN7 a direct drop in for a stock SEX, or would some fiddling about have to be done before-hand?
Data sheets:

No, The 6DN7 is 2 tubes in one bottle and they are not at all the same.
1 section, used as the first stage voltage amplifier, is very much like

It may have been, but I could have swore they were talking about the 6SN7. And i see what you mean now, thanks.
