Title: Low volume right channel [resolved]
Post by: Karl5150 on June 10, 2016, 12:18:55 PM
As I said in my gallery post I have a very noticeable channel imbalance. Side to side tube swapping doesn't help. When I swap in and out cables on the Quickie the right channel (being fed by the Quickie's left) is still low.
I went back through the resistance and voltage checks. All the resistances run +10% consistently.
All 0 ohm, OL & 0 V are as they should be.
I noticed the first few voltages started +10% but slowly dropped as everything warmed up.
After it was stable all the 95-100 V terminals read +1% to +6%.
All the 212-425 V terminals read -2% to -4%.
Terminal 12 (30-55V) reads 48 V but terminals 18 & 28 read 23 V.
So it seems the left channel is high, not the right channel being low.
Any insight from the crew would be appreciated.

Maybe double check the output transformer wiring?

Oooops, and that's why he's the Doc.
Thank you for the diagnosis, the kits and the music!
