I have been playing with the different settings for my headphones and have found that the 32 ohm and 16 ohm are very close in transparency. I want the amp to also run my Fostek folded horns which are 8 ohms and patio speakers through a ohm matching box, also 8 ohms.
The question is:
If I leave it set at the 16 ohm setting will any damage occur to the amp? I ran it this way last night and it was simply wonderful the Volume never went past 50 % for the speakers and 3 clicks for the headphones.
The reason that I want to leave the switch set is because it will be a P/I/T/A to turn it over to change it back and forth

16 ohms is just fine, there is no possibility of damage from using a different output impedance speaker with a zero global negative feedback design.
