After building a Crack, I'm planning on upgrading my phono playback system with a Reduction + Integration build. The thing is that my cartridge is 4Mv output. Will this be too low or boderline for a good result with the Reduction? I'll probably be adding the Integration upgrade right away during my build. I figure why wait? I'm hoping that will put me in the ballpark with gain. Thanks.

I don't expect you'd have any issues, I use my Reduction + Integration quite successfully with (amongst others) a Nagaoka MP-30 which has a listed output of 3mv. ;)

Build the Reduction stock first. If something goes wrong, it will be easier to diagnose the problem on the simpler stock circuit.

Ok thanks very much for the replys. I appreciate it. I'll build it stock first.

You're about on the money for the gear that you have.
The gain issue occurs mostly with Sex/Stereomour users who have inefficient loudspeakers.

OK, thanks much. I'm excited to get it and start building!
