It happens to the best of us. We get a couple builds under our belts, and we start getting too confident, just skimming the steps. Been building the Kaiju slowly over the past few evenings. Everything is going well until I get to the C4S boards.
"Insert a 220 ohm resistor into the B side."
uh...I don't have any of those left. I used all those when I wired up the A and D sockets. *reads back through the manual*
Oh. Those were only used on the A socket. Not the D socket.
Looks like I'm going shopping for more resistors.... :-[ ::)

Thankfully you can head up to Tokyo and source them locally vs. ordering online. I miss that about living in Japan!

Yep. That's where I'm headed tomorrow. And, while I'm in Akihabara, might as well make a stop at e-Earphone and have a look around. There's also a really nice tube store called Classic Components. That's always worth a visit.

There are a couple of great used record stores in that area also. I picked up hundreds of LP's for 100-500 yen each. I really miss Tokyo....
