Title: SEX 3.0 universal transformer

Please can you give some guidance on the internal and top plate surface temperatures for the  SEX 3.0 with the new universal transformers.

Does it run hotter than the SEX 2.1?

The S3X has additional ventilation on the top plate, but at the same time we have also chosen to mount the DC heater rectifier diodes to the chassis to keep them cooler.  All in all, I don't see any reason to say that it will run significantly warmer or cooler than the prior model.
