Hello There.
I just received few components for my Crack and one of them was a choke.
They didn't have the Triad C7-X but I tried to come close to it in specs.
30 -20H80mA
Will this work?

A 20H/80mA choke should be OK in the stock circuit, but getting close to borderline with the Speedball. Why does that choke have 3 wires?

Hello Paul.
Thank for getting back to me.
"getting close to borderline with the Speedball"
Should I then leave it and buy an C7-X?
"Why does that choke have 3 wires?"
It came like this, I believe it has a ground wire that the C7-X does not have.
Here is a full description of the choke from the webshop. I can provide a like to it if needed.

I have ordered the Triad C7-X [10H90] so I will not install this 20H80mA choke.

Yeah, the C-7X is tried and true. That choke that you have might work OK, but people have been known to have some issues with parts from that country of origin.

What about a choke from HAMMOND which one is the closest to CX-7.Thanks!
