Title: Late stereomour review
Post by: rockdrummer on August 16, 2017, 02:35:28 PM
Hi everyone. Just wanted to make a quick post about how good my bottlehead stereomour sounds. I have tried it with a stock quickie, but the amp sounds a little cleaner and spacious without. I don't mind adjusting the sub amps individually. I don't change volumes much anyway.

I am running it into open baffle super v speakers from gr research. They are 97db sensitive so more volume than I have ever needed. I am using a junky blue ray player as a source.

I hear things in music I have never heard before! Like Steve Earl on "I'll never get out of this world alive", more voice details I never knew were there. The Refreshments "Nada", those hand drums were buried.

My struggle is with speaker placement. My room is untreated, and I feel is a bit shout-y. I want more imaging but that is also quite room dependent.
Such an open sound, great tone, dead quiet, and a joy to listen to.

Wonderful products bottlehead. If you are on the fence, run, not walk to the order que and get yourself something. You won't be disappointed!
